just as we were heading for a stonking good Halloween tradgedy struck
the wonderful border security better known to us all as ozzie the emu had passed away.
much as mes moaned bout him being on the xmas cards instead of me, im gutted
yes we had a bit of banter, rough and tumble but mes just cant imagine the place without the fella
he was a top bloke and we are all going to miss him
i mean, who else could pull off the dodgy knitwear i gave him last year
had a bit of a de brief with the gang after the successful spa relaunch !
certain questions had to be asked........
why did sammy and psyco think it was a good idea to "play" with a mouse outside the spa entrance minutes before the grand opening?
why did wombat think he was on security detail ?
why did harriet constantly try to jump on bobs back to get a better view of the preceedings ?
why did my dear brother rupert think it was a good idea to throw a complete loopy turn and bite my bum and headbutt me in public ?
of course the most pressing question has to be ...........
where did the leftover cheese and crackers go ??
met lots of new friends from far and beyond this weekend
think it was the lure of the wine, crackers, cheese, music, and of course the wonderful spa!
was hopeful that everyone would be on their best behaviour but where theres pigs, cats, dogs ......brothers !!..... theres always going to be a problem !
all in all glad to see some fresh meat ............erm i mean some new friends loaded up with gingernuts !
had a bit of a get together with the gang to decide on the best way to back the spa relaunch
firstly i had to explain that we were not going to the local spar for lunch !
